In a world full of distractions, it has become extremely difficult to maintain focus even while reading. A majority of eBook applications only deliver the content, and they do not facilitate user engagement. The client approached us to help them make a difference by developing a platform that would not only provide digital reading but also assist users in their comprehension and enjoyment of the reading material.
The objective was straightforward yet daring: to come up with a reading application that gives a sense of tranquility, individuality, and approachability for all people, be it a learner getting ready for tests, a researcher going through the literature, or a person reading just for fun.

Our Approach
Initially, we explored the current readers' behaviors and main issues. Besides getting access to books, readers demand concentration aids, a user-friendly interface, and various options in reading methods.
Thinking of that, our team created Zoom Read to be a place where reading is as easy as pie. The line-by-line reading mode was introduced to reduce distractions, plus there are customization options like fonts, contrast, dark mode, and themes for individual preferences. The idea was to create something that improves understanding and not only consumption.
How We Solved It
We Built Zoom Read As A Fully Integrated Ecosystem For Readers And Admins Alike.
On The Mobile App, Users Can:
- Set Up Accounts Through Social Or Email Login And Customize Their Profiles.
- Upload Or Import Books In Various Formats (PDF, DOCX, EPUB)
- Change Font, Size, And Color For A Reading Without Distraction.
- Select Among Free (With Ads) Or Premium (No Ads) Options Of Usage.
- Purchase And Download Books From The ECommerce Store In The App Directly.
- Monitor The Progress Of Reading And Go Back To Books That Have Already Been Read Or Purchased.
In Parallel, The Super Admin Dashboard Provides Total Dominion Over Users, Books, Payments, And Analytics. A Neat, Responsive Web Interface Handles Everything From Subscription Management To Monitoring Ad Revenue And User Engagement.
Moreover, We Incorporated AdMob For Advertising Revenue, Stripe For Secure Payments, And AWS/GCP For Storage And Hosting To Guarantee Scalability And Performance.
